Sunday Funnies – Grandkids Can Be So Darn Honest

My Gram saved the Sunday Funny Papers for me and my daughter Nicole every week – many, many years ago.  I think it gave us both an appreciation for the fine art of mixing humor with work.  (It could also explain a lot… ) I’ll try to pass on my Gram’s gift here, sort of as a reminder to laugh every day.  Thanks, Gram.  Let’s see who’s got a chuckle for us today…

I guess I’m missing my grandkids while they’re away on vacation.

What’s He Like?

A small boy was lost at a large shopping mall.

He approached a uniformed policeman and said, “I’ve lost my grandpa!”

The cop asked, “what’s he like?”

The little boy hesitated for a moment and then replied, “Crown Royal whiskey and women with big boobs”.

Ageless

My young grandson called the other day to wish me Happy Birthday. He asked me how old I was, and I told him, “62.”

He was quiet for a moment, and then he asked, “Did you start at 1?

God-Like

My grandson was visiting one day when he asked, “Grandma, do you know how you and God are alike?”

I mentally polished my halo while I asked, “No, how are we alike?”

“You’re both old,” he replied.

Teaching Grandma

I didn’t know if my granddaughter had learned her colors yet, so I decided to test her. I would point out something and ask what color it was. She would tell me, and always she was correct. But it was fun for me, so I continued.

At last she headed for the door, saying sagely, “Grandma, I think you should try to figure out some of these yourself!”
