Jeanne Robertson – Doing The Pashmina Toss Flip
Posted on Saturday, October 16th, 2010
The story of the pashmina toss flip starts out innocently enough – speaker Jeanne Robertson wants to look fashionable in New York City.
That should be the end of the story; learning how to make a pashmina sit-and-stay. But, the story continues, thanks to the always analytical husband, Left-Brain.
When Left-Brain questions this whole pashmina thing, he is told more than once, “you don’t know the style in New York City.” As any good left-brain husband would do, he uses that information to analyze a particular situation. The results are hilarious. Please watch as our delightful speaker shares her story of the pashmina toss flip gone horribly wrong:
Many of us know a left-brain husband; we may actually be looking at one right now… hi Honey! And, it seems the more a situation calls for a judgment call, the more likely a left-brain husband will toss that judgment right out the window.
Thanks again to Jeanne Robertson for giving us something to laugh at today. She’s a trooper! There aren’t many people who would parade their wardrobe malfunction out for everyone to witness. Of course, Left-Brain deserves credit for allowing us to have a guffaw or two at his expense. Good sports I say… good sports!

How come I haven’t heard of Jeanne Robertson before? She’s hilarious! “What you need is an attitude! You’ve just got to stare those shoulders down” 🙂

I have not laughed so hard in years. We went to NY, and bought pashmina’s. It took a while for this Florida girl to learn to flip it too!!

Thanks, Virginia. Jeanne definitely tells a good tale, doesn’t she. Very funny! I have one too and think about this story every time I wear it. Luckily it is pink so I can’t confuse it with any of my Hubby’s pants. 😉
