Time To Shake It Up A Bit!

Okay folks, January was a lazy month for me.  2009 started out rather “sluggish”, if you know what I mean.  Now, if you live anywhere OTHER than Florida, you no doubt have an excuse for hunkerin’ down instead of getting out there and exercising.  The weather has been ridiculous!  What’s my excuse?  Plain old inertia.

Fast forward to a new attitude.  February is here and I have a challenge for myself and anyone who wants to join me.  Beginning today, February 1, I am doing some sort of exercise every day.  Today, I biked 7 miles.  My calendar in the kitchen has a notation on it and tomorrow is looming on the horizon, offering yet another opportunity.  In 28 days, by March 1, I should have a firmly entrenched habit re-created for myself.  How about you?  Will you join me?

I know that as soon as I get back in the groove, I will stay there. At least until January 2010!  Those darn slips into the fitness abyss keep popping up at least once a year.  Well, no sense crying over unburned calories… time to get moving!  Good luck ya’ll!
